Mike Barron Sr.

Founder and President

Michael Barron, Sr. started Barron Construction LLC in 2010. He has more than 37 years in the construction industry having been self-employed since the age of 22.

Prior to Barron Construction, Barron was the Owner and President of Loewen Window Center of St. Louis (2005 - 2009). He introduced Loewen, a window and door manufacturer from Steinbach, Canada, to St. Louis and developed the dealership into the #2 dealership in the Central U.S. in just four years.

Before Loewen, Barron spent 23 years at Boa Construction Company, where he was Co-Founder and President (1982 - 2005). With humble beginnings, some tools, a couple of old cars, and $100.00 in capital, Barron built Boa into a premier high-end residential company specializing in additions and remodels. The company consisted of 50-70 full time employees. With substantial help from partner Bill Croghan, talented office staff, carpenters and millworkers, the company produced some of the finest work in St. Louis.

Barron is husband to Bridget and father to Mike Jr, Meaghan and Joe -- all members of Barron Construction. He currently resides on a farm in Labadie, Mo. restoring the circa 1880 farm house, and is a eucharistic minister and lector at his parish St. Alban Roe Church. He grew up in University City, attended Christ the King elementary, DeSmet Jesuit High, Southwest Missouri State, majoring in Business and Life Science, and raised his family in Richmond Heights.

As a Catholic Christian, Barron views faith as a foundation of his work. He thanks God for the opportunity to work alongside his family in a career where he finds passion, and leans on his faith to operate his business with fairness, honesty and integrity.
